Morning all.

I am currently 34 weeks pregnant. I am exhausted. I cant stop crying and shouting at everyone.

I went into early labour on boxing day. They gave me steroids and nefidipine and managed to calm it down (not stop completely) and every since I am getting pretty strong tightenings every 15-20 mins. Day and night.

I havent slept longer than an hour in weeks. I ache everywhere, the pressure in my bits is horrible and I am gnerally just feeling fed up. Hyperemesis seems to be stepping back up a gear as well so Im spending most days vomiting where as I had managed to control it with tablets to just the morning.

After 7 mc's I am so so greatful to be here and prgnant. Hospital are trying to get me to 35 weeks. Which is a week away and seems like a lifetime atm. But then if the tigthenings stay as they are then I may well make it 38 weeks for my booked section. 38 weeks means another 4 weeks of no sleep, pain, pressure and contractions. How will I cope with that?

Ive never laboured before and I dont thinkI cam coping very well with it tbh :(

Poor girl. I don't they should leave you that long. Try to get to see a consultant to bring your date forward, even to 37 weeks.

I went through this for a week with my 3rd and I insisted on being induced, although i was fullterm by then.

Although it's emotionally and physically exhausting, try to remember there is light at the end of the tunnel, v soon now. And if you have no children at home which is sounds like try to a. rest as much as you can b. try and have a massage or something i that's possible?

I'm expecting my 4th (and def last!) and am recovering from flu and feel so utterly wretched and have 10 weeks to go. But I'm still trying to focus on a. it will end fairly soon b.spring is on its way!

But do try to get your date brought forward. Keep us posted! x

Good luck, I sympathise re hormones, I'm 38+1 and a mess! Unfortunately no advice to offer, just sending you a giant virtual hug!

Thanks both.

Not seeing consultant until the 17th which is 2 weeks away but will deff be asking about bringing the date forward if nothing has happened before.

Good point is that as each day passes the contractions seem to get a bit stronger and i get another sign that hes on his way.

I managed an hours sleep and have been throwing up ALL day again.

Oh darlingJingleJulezbooBells..This must be really horrid for you..my heart really goes out to you. Get to 35 weeks and see what they say..?? I think you really really need to be firm with them. Can they not give you anything to help with the sickness?? Please make sure you are keeping your fluid level up (sure you are) Smile

Just like Kiwi I have no advice but just wanted to go you a big hug.

I think Mumsnet should add a HUG link or smiley thingly..would make giving virtual hugs much nicer

Smile xx
