Hello mums! Have just found out I'm very early stages (around 5 weeks I think) with number two, really hoping for another boy although a girl would obviously be just fine too(!) and have been getting excited far too early and sorting through my ds' old baby clothes and searching the attic to see what can be used again and what needs to be bought. I still have the Moses basket from first time around, will just need a new mattress for it and was thinking of buying ds (2years) a new bed and letting the baby have the cot-bed he is using at the moment. Will I need a new mattress for this (only about a year old but obviously ds has been in it for this time.) And also, are toddler beds like the ones sold in Mothercare etc worth the money (I think they last approximately up until age 5, around the same as the cot-bed) and would they be suitable for a two year old if I was to put safety sides on one?
