Tripping over

Hi everyone,

Just coming up to 33 weeks and all of a sudden I've started tripping over a lot. Once was on the stairs, luckily near the bottom, but I ended up on the floor (baby moving normally etc so not worried in that respect). On the other occasions I've managed to catch myself before falling over completely.

This is a new one on me. Do you think it's pregnancy related!?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I spent most of my pregnancy tripping over! Including once at about 6mths pg where I fell down some stairs and literally landed on top of man in front of me Blush he said I'd made his day Hmm Grin it's natural I think as your centre of gravity changes considerably, once I'd had ds stopped tripping so much.

Yes! Plus keep dropping things, knocking things over and generally having no co-ordination at all. I was like this during growth spurt as a teen and I think it's just to do with bits of body not being quite where my brain thinks they are. Was scared sh*tless when snow was on ground, very glad to be able to walk pavements safely again!

No advice to offer I'm afraid, except hold the handrail!!!

Completely normal. As your centre of gravity changes, you feel more off balance, and your hormones (relaxin) are already making you clumsier than pre-pregnant. But it will get better.... once you've had your baby :)
