Does second pregnancy bump get bigger quicker?

Hi just wondering if in general a second pregnancy starts to show more quickly than the first? I know that I do have a bit of 'jelly' tummy left from the first, but I am just over 12 weeks and there is a visible bump whereas in my first pregnancy I managed to get to 5 months before I had to start wearing maternity clothes or before anyone noticed (and no I didn't have a skinny or toned tummy before I was pregnancy). Thanks for any info.

i was in maternity clothes with my 2nd before the 12 week scan Blush

Yes!

Your muscles are looser and so your uterus can poke out earlier.

I'm on my 4th and it was very obvious very quiclky!
congrats :)

No, mine was smaller. I weighed less to start with than I did before the first pg, and the baby was smaller too. I kept it a secret at work til I was 6 months pg.

Mine certainly did. I'm 16 weeks with my second and have quite a bump, but like you it wsa ages before anyone noticed with my first.

hiya, i think i have got bigger quicker yes. i am 11+5 and have been wearing stretchy sided jeans from 9 weeks. i am sure i am looking bigger than first time round, i definately feel bigger. but the maddening thing is that i cant remember when i started to wear maternity first time round. but i definatly didnt feel like this first time.

Mine did too. The weight came on earlier for me too. On a positive note, I'm at 33 weeks now and haven't gained any more weight than I did with dc1 and bump is slowing down too.

I can't remember Blush. Felt like I got a bump sooner with DC2 though
