Hi

I had a positive pregnancy test on Thursday, following a very early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy last month, and a termination for T21 earlier in the year.

To start with I felt great and really positive like this was going to be the one that worked out, but today i have had a lot of on/off light menstrual crampy type feelings. I remember with the first pregnancy I had cramping from implantation through to about week 6 but because it started before my period was even due i wasnt even worried. this time i had no implantation cramping or any other twinges at all really, so this has come a little out of the blue.

honestly ladies should i be worried or not?

Probably not, but unfortunately as you know, it's impossible to really tell. With both my pregnancies I've had cramping up until about week 8, but never any bleeding. To show for it I have a happy 3 year old and a 30wk bump.

I hope it works out for you this time.

I had quite strong crampy feelings from weeks 4-7 (now week 11 and have had early scan and seen heartbeat), so it can definitely be fine with cramping. I didn't have bleeding either though. I think it's very hard not to worry - I certainly did for weeks! I had also had a chemical pregnancy about 6 months ago which started with cramping. Try to go easy on yourself and relax as much as you can - it's a horrible waiting game at this stage.

To be honest once you've had one mc, you are always going to worry about any pregnancy. Its quite normal.

All you can do is eat and drink heathily and look after yourself.

Good luck.
