Indulge me, I'm nosy!

I imagine most are very generic 'Baby Name born Date, Weight, Mum and baby well' sort of thing. My last one was (I wrote it on DH's phone)

Or have you had a witty or funny one?

Cant remember now but would advise you put "We will let you know when we are read for visitors" at the end!

deemented · 02/01/2011 14:56

Ours was

'Deemented and Manshape are pleased to announce the arrival of a baby boy - Tate Aneurin at 9.43pm this evening. Tate weighed in at 9lb 15 and a half lbs and has lots of black curly hair like his daddy. Mother and baby are doing well'

Or something...

"Our first, probably our last, but definately our everything watfordmummy and daddy are delighted to annouce the arrive or watfordboy"

He wasn't our last but still 10yrs later is still our everything!

JentlyDoesIt · 02/01/2011 15:10

Ours was "Our eager little Boy (DS name) has arrived 3 weeks early at 3.08 am weighing in at 7lb 15oz. All's well with him and us :-)"

With DD, I had it all ready to go in my draft section of my text box as she was a planned c section "DD was born at 11.51 am weighing at 7lb 10.5oz. We are a happy little family!" I just added the time and weight when we were back on the ward!

Come to think of it mine had WAY too much info:

DD1 was born at 12.32am weighing 9lbs 4oz (ow!). 36 hour induced labour ended in forceps and blood transfusions. However, she is healthy and utterly gorgeous and we are besotted.

Tillyscoutsmum · 03/01/2011 07:55

He's out !! (DS name) finally made his appearance at 5.28 am this morning, all 10lb 5oz of him. Smarted a bit but he's gorgeous and we're all doing well.

tlise · 03/01/2011 12:02
