I've got SPD and its really bad today, I am sure I was told I could use it up to 7 months last time, but just wanted to double check if its ok before I take it!

Thanks. x

As an opiate it is a respiratory depressor - so is not safe to take in the final trimester as it could cause the baby to have breathing difficulties following the birth.

Although, having said that, I'm sure it is occasionally prescribed in small doses (like for HeroShrew). I'd ask your midwife/GP first. And eat plenty of fibre!
