....feeling very nervous. Anomaly scan on 12th January & I'm aware that I could have an anterior placenta but it doesn't stop me worrying :(

Can't remember when I started feeling it with my first as it was nearly 15 years ago!

Could the fact that I have a bicornuate uterus have anything to do with it?

I am currently 19+4 weeks with DC3 and have only just started feeling movement. I felt loads of movement with DC2 at 15/16 weeks so like you have been torturing myself for the past few weeks. I have an anterior placenta so have now admitted to myself that is no doubt why I didn't feel any movement but I certainly didn't buy into that until now - you just can't help but worry can you?! Interestingly my first child was a boy and was so lazy in utero - he never seemed to move! My daughter on the other hand swished and kicked like crazy. And guess what, I'm having another boy... Hmmm, it seems my sons are quiet while in my tummy - not when they arrive though!

Really hope you feel reassured - am sure you will start to feel movements soon.

Try not to worry - I had an anterior placenta with DD and I didn't feel any mmovement until 21 or 22 weeks. With DS and his posterior placenta it was 10 weeks and with my other DS (posterior placenta again) it was about 19 weeks - so I think it's partly to do with the placenta and partly the baby.

Pregnancy is so worrying isn't it?!?

Not sure about the BC uterus....

Ditto remember I am currently expecting dc4 and I had an anterior placenta with dc3 and was much later feeling movements than all the others.

Try not to worry, you'll soon feel a good pummelling!

I did borrow an angel heartbeat monitor for a quick listen in when I needed reassurance.
