How are things going? Have you got that baby shifted yet? I'm still hanging in there (unfortunately). Had contractions every 15 mins for 8 hours yesterday. Nothing now. Hmm. Wish this baby would make it's mind up!

Still waiting. Last few nights have had pains pretty much all night but all stops early hours.

Also seem to be losing the worlds biggest mucus plug (gross sorry)

Spent last two days trying towalk as mch as poss, see if that helps. Nt holding out much hope though :(

CardyMow · 02/01/2011 01:05

I've had a bit more of a show tonight too. I don't think I could walk much if I tried at the moment. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it all starts off soon.

another night of stop/start pains :(

Although, pains are still niggling this morning, hopefully they will carry on and get worse!

very very tired though, don't know how many more nights with little sleep i can take.

CardyMow · 02/01/2011 07:32

I haven't had any pains last night since my show. Managed to get a whole 5 hrs sleep.

mumatron · 02/01/2011 07:46

i had regular pains up until about 2-2.30 ish, managed to sleep till 3.45, few bad pains then nothing until about 7am.

now it's just like period pains and constant lower back ache.

going to try having a bath then spending the day bouncing on my ball and playing with my nipples Grin

hope things kick off for you soon.

mumatron · 03/01/2011 16:27

Any luck loudlass?

nothing doing here.

CardyMow · 03/01/2011 18:06

Have been twiddling my niples all day, and I've had nothing. The only thing I've had today is a bit of a dodgy tummy. Again. Was it Tuesday or Thursday for your induction date? Envy

I read on your other thread (chat?) that things may be starting off for you. Good luck, and don't forget to update when you get the time! GOOD LUCK!!

still here, lots of pains but still a bit hit and miss.

i just hope it doesn't all stop again.

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 04/01/2011 04:42

oh your up as well :) maybe today our babies will arrive :)

mumatron · 04/01/2011 04:52

ooh is anything happening with you then?

i'm sure everything is going to stop again for me.

i would be so happy if this baby would show her face today.

CardyMow · 04/01/2011 08:49

Awww, can't believe it's all stopped for you! Well, only one more day, in the next day or so, you'll have your baby in your arms! Nothing doing here, except for having to get up to get DD ready for school. Wishing the school holidays were a bit longer tbh!

OP posts:
mumatron · 04/01/2011 13:14

mine are back in school tomorrow, but they are starting in anew school so lots of stress about that.

still getting alsorts of pains but nothing progressing. have been shopping again see if the walking would help but nothing as yet. except for a very unhealthy bank balance.

CardyMow · 05/01/2011 14:43

Any news? I had an A/N with the GP today. He felt my tummy and said "Well, I won't bother with the tape measure, baby's a very good size". As if I want to know that baby is a 'very good size' when I'm 38+3?? I've got a MW appointment on the 12th, and she'll do a sweep (if I haven't had baby by then).

OP posts:
mumatron · 05/01/2011 19:30

how big was your dd then? not very helpful to tell you the baby is a good size though isit?

Sweep was ok, very painful and have been in agony since. bad backache and sporadic contractions. another massive show

mw was very hopeful i would go before the iol tomorrow. 3cm dilated and cervix very soft and stetchy. also mostly effaced, if that makes sense!

if nothing happens tonight i will be going in some time tomorrow, will be 40+13. will be very disappointed if i don't get my water birth though!

CardyMow · 06/01/2011 09:26

DS2 was 8lb2oz at 40+2, DS1 was 7lb7oz at 40 wks, DD was 6lb12oz at 34+5!! (She would have been a bloomin whopper if she'd have gone to term!)

Good luck for today, being induced isn't that bad, I've been induced with the other 3 dc.

I had (yet more of) a show last night, and the dodgiest tummy ever this morning...but nothing seems to be happening. Confused.

OP posts:
mumatron · 07/01/2011 11:51

No need for induction, baby Eliza born 06/01/2011 8lb 8oz (ouch!) Just home from hosp so wil post again later.

galwaygal · 07/01/2011 13:54
