I've had the most awfull nights sleep due to the pain, I had this for over 2 months now and every night im in agony. I was wondering how commom the condition is, I was diagnosed a few weeks ago after being referred to physio. I'm 29 weeks and the thought of another 10 or so weeks of this pain is not a nice thought. No matter what time i go to bed, I wake up every morning absolutely exhausted. the quality of sleep im getting is so poor. i've been told its due to a trapped nerve and the curvature of my spine. Has anyone had this and given birth for it to completely disappear?

I get this (but not pregnant!)

You can have it treated with steroid injections, which I understand may not be suitable if pregnant, but sometimes they just use a local anaesthetic - which may be safe for you?

I also have some exercises that can really help.

I would speak to your GP again if it is causing sleep loss. Hope you get some relief soon.
