Are these Braxton Hicks?...Never had them before

Never had them in my last pregnancy so not sure,

Im 27 weeks and on and off all day ive had sharp shoot pains on both sides down low in my tummy, almost pubic area.

Could they be braxtons or maybe where babys changing position? Hes been very active today, the little footballer ;-)

Also occasionally my belly goes hard/tight as tho hes pushing his back out if that makes sense.

I've been having braxton hicks since 22 weeks (28 now) and your second post sounds more like them.

My belly goes really hard, usually around the lower half (I've noticed since my fundal height has increased). It sometimes feels tingly, but not painful.

I've not experienced the pains you describe in the first post - although they sound a lot like the round ligament pain I had up to 18 weeks.

Ring you mw and get checked out to be safe.
