Discharge in pregnancy

Hi - i'm nearly 10 weeks pregnant and over the last couple of days i've been getting a discharge (sorry if tmi) -is this normal or should i get it checked out?

As long as not really really smelly and a funny colour then its fine and normal. Pregnant women do get extra discharge. Take crae xxx

its sort of a yellow cream colour - not too much of it and its not smelly? Does that sound normal?

During pregnancy, it's quite common to experience increased vaginal discharge. Most causes are fairly benign and normal. What you are noticing is probably simply leukorrhea ? a mild-smelling milky fluid or discharge, caused by an increased blood flow to the area around the vagina. It's probably not that different from the discharge that you experienced before you were pregnant ? there's just a lot more of it.

If your discharge changes, pay attention. If it is foul-smelling, thick, yellow, green, or causes itching or burning, it could be a sign of thrush or other infection. Contact your doctor or midwife, as you'll want to treat it before you deliver your baby.

sounds normal mandy moo I always tend to have increased discharge when pg..sometimes makes me feel a bit like I have leaked tmi

Me too. Im 5+3 now and forver going to loo to check if its blood. The stress of concieving after a miscarriage.

this was how i guess i was pregnant. i remember getting lots of discharge with first baby. i knew i was pregnant even before i was 4 weeks as I had the increase in discharge, creamy texture. i tested neg a few days before i was due but i still had hope. i tested day i was due and got my bfp.

i am 9 weeks now and it is still there.

it is prefectly normal and just caused by your surging hormones.

keep an eye it does not change colour and get smelly.

It is normal I had a lot all through my first preg, having to wear light pads towards the end . Another side effect of being preg, as if there weren't enough!!

How are you doing Lovecloud, remember talking to you on the TTC thread. I'm on a countdown we start TTC next month, fingers crossed.
