Im 16 wks and although the worst of the nausea has now gone I still cant stomach 'nutritious' meals. I am becoming concerned about nutrition for the baby and cant believe he can get all he needs from endless crackers with cheese or oranges, or vast quantities of sweets. I dont mean specific meals here, I mean any kind of conventional meal...meat n veg, pasta n sauce, chicken salad, soup...I cant stomach anything like this.
I have started to force myself to eat what would be considered to be very small balanced meals (that I would normally love) but hate every second and want to gag all the way through. Am I doing the right thing forcing myself like this for the sake of the bub or it is pointless and I should just eat what I most feel like on the basis that this is what my body wants?
Anyone got any wisdom for me?
