Anyone got an Isobella Oliver wrap top?

Just bought one from ebay after reading mixed reviews. They seem to be either wonderful reiews saying it is the best top in the world or that it is awful and a right PITA!

Have I just made an expensive mistake?!

Nice for dressing up, PITA for daily use I found. I bought a couple on ebay and barely wore them. I suspect that's why you can buy them in such good nick so often

I ordered one. It arrived looking like a toilet roll that had exploded. Once I had eventually wrapped what seemed like a mile of material around me after much cursing it actually looked really nice. I still sent it back though because patience isn't a virtue I posses.

I've got one and I do love it, it looks great, but it is a bit of a PITH untying it and doing it up again each time you go to the loo (which is all the blumming time), especially in a public loo trying to keep the ties from falling on the floor in case it's ermmm wet.

I have got one as well and haven't been using it that much neither - it's flattering but a pain if worn with trousers as bits of flesh keep popping out and I got all self conscious.

It works better with skirt as I guess there are less 'movement'. It's nice to wear it once a while to go out but definitely not an everyday wear. I got mine from ebay as well so it didn't cost the earth.

Would really recommend their coat though as it's really warm and the nicest i've seen.

Thanks all, will save it for "best" then!

I didn't find mine too bad. You need to practice a bit, but worn with jeans it was fine. The only problem was over-the-bump style jeans and leggings as you really do need to unwrap to go to the toilet. The tops are pretty flattering and I always got a lot of compliments. They are less good towards the end of pregnancy when you get really big, but earlier they're great.

Try the video clip on YouTube for help getting started.

I loved the look when I was standing absolutely still- but unless I had a vest top underneath (too hot) the fabric would sort of separate and I'd look down in a shop to see a strip of tummy exposed to the world- or a bit of my back, etc. It just seemed to move around, no matter how I tied it or how tight/loose. I sold it on ebay! The ruched one I had was much better ('portrait top'). Also showed a fair bit of cleavage but I didn't mind that!

ah i have one too...best way to put it on is wrap one side around you, then do the other...doesn't look quite as amazing as it could but stops flesh popping out!
Enjoy!
