cheap ebay PG tests: How early can they give you a BFP

If you have used cheap ebay at what stage did you get a BFP...

also did you use them early and get a BFN and then later realise it was a BFP, but the test hadnt detected it?

am currently 6 days early, and i have one of those (expensive) 6 day early tests (but dont want to waste it yet) but also have a few cheap ebays as well and wondered if its even worth a try yet or it if just will be a BFN anyway

I got a bfn at 9 dpo and then a tiny weeny + at 12 dpo on the ebay cheapies (which was a massive shock after the bfn as I had no symptoms and was only testing to see if I could drink that weekend).

I think it's better to hang fire until 12 dpo if you can, hard though it is. And yes, I realise I am in no position to say that given what I did. Good luck!

I used one and got a faint + the day AF was due. Was on the pill and something didn't feel right so a huge shock!

Am 9day PO (6 days early) at the moment so looks like there is no point using either for several days yet.

Guess i just need to be patient!

I got a + at 8dpo with my ds :)

I got a very faint positive on Amazon cheapies (I mean so faint only I could see it) at 9dpo and it got slightly darker every day.

Wasn't sure it was really there, so I scanned it and used photoshop to change the contrast on the pic so I could actually see it!

TBH, I'm now 21dpo, had a strong BFP on a First Response at 13dpo and the lines are still pretty faint on the cheapies.

I had a chemical pregnancy a couple of months ago and that never showed up at all on the cheapies.

I tend to have lines come up early (I also tend to have HCG well above average too, so probably linked) and I have had BFPs as early as the evening of 7dpo. Usually they're 8/9dpo though. Always have a BFP by 9dpo with the eBay cheapies if it's going to happen. Plenty of women don't until 12-13dpo though, so everyone is different.

I used eBay cheapies for both my BFP's (different batches tho).

First preg: BFP 13dpo, pretty clear, fairly sure I would have seen it earlier, had I tested earlier

Second preg: BFN 12dpo (cue massive intake of red wine, weeping etc), 14dpo the lightest line ever came up, bit darker on 15dpo but still had to squint. 17dpo clearblue said 1-2 weeks.

I did OPKs so +/- 3 days either way for actual ovulation and conception date.

Does that help? Keep the faith and stay off those tests for a few more days!

I got a squinter of a BFP at 11dpo.

i did a cheapie about 5 days early and got a very faint positive!

I used a cheapie at 9dpo and got a faint, very faint, line. Did clearblue digital same day and pregnant 1-2 appeared...
