Bless my wife. first she started bleeding bright red and small clots but we were then told it was implantation bleeding and gave us the 'threatened miscarriage' title. then she stopped the bleeding and my wife started being sick and/or retching everyday on a regular basis (still is!). the only food she has managed to keep down has either been chinese or burger king (!) and now she is starting to have chills. last night she was experiencing a runny nose, headache and was exhausted. her forehead was hot. i put a second duvet on the bed and let her sleep alone so she wouldnt be disturbed. she also has a chesty cough...
However she has nowhere near the hot forehead she had last night and is now only very tired so have left her sleeping and will ensure she rests all day. ive got her the usual balm tissues, kalpol, paracetamol, etc and just hope this goes soon.
Despite all of the above her 2 scans at the EPU proved our little un is doing well (there was a large luteal cyst which the sonographers were very happy to see as it apparently feeds the foetus, etc).
Im hoping these are all signs of hormones playing up and that both baby and mother/wifey will be fine. has anyone else experienced these symptoms? She is that tired this morn she hasnt had her morning 'bit of sick' as yet!
Btw hope you all had a good christmas

Hi Johnny,

The poor thing! I had similar symptoms at around seven weeks for a couple of days. My husband kept me dosed up on paracetemol, which kept my temperature down and I drank lots of water. It was still worrying though. I am now 32 weeks and baby seems to be doing fine.

I hope she feels better soon.
