Maxi Cosi Car Seat Help....

Hi,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I'm now trying to do a bit of online shopping as I have bought nothing yet (baby due in April). So if I'm looking at buying the Maxi-Cosi® CabrioFix Infant Carrier, is this one you would recommend?

There seem so many different types to choose and obviously I don't want to be having to buy a new one every 6 months.

I'm thinking of buying the bugaboo bee plus and I presume this is compatible?

Also why I'm here any recommendations for which electric breast pump to buy?

CabrioFix is fab. I def recommend getting a base for it as saves you having to strap it in with seat belt every time. There are 2 bases, EasyFix which is Isofix and EasyBase which is secured with seatbelt.
It is compatible with the Bee Plus.

There's also that new Pebble seat too, I haven't tried it but think the base also works with the next stage up seat.

The Ameda Lactaline Double pump is fab, the only one I had any success with. Expensive but def worth it.

I have a bugaboo bee plus for my baby who is due in March. Ordered the cabriofix seat from Amazon today (half price - £62.50 in black!) so I hope it fits! Now jut need some adaptors!

I can also rate the Cabriofix, and have now got their priorifix (lo is 10months). Can't comment on the bugaboo. With regards to breast pump I bought the Avent Isis IQ Duo - used it with number 1, friend has just finished borrowing it for number 1 and I will have it back for number 2. Very very very easy to use!

cabriofix is great. Make sure you find the secret sunshade which is tucked into the frame behind the head rest and pulls forward to hook over the handles. You'd never know it was there unless someone tells you!

oh, one thing, the pad that goes between the baby's legs often would fall out. I always meant (and will for DC2) to sew up the slit in the seat fabric so it can't come out. You'll see what I mean when you get it.
