39 weeks, unable to sleep bcs of v painful sore throat

What - if anything can I take to ease it??

I am 40+3 and i have a really sore throat and cold. Saw midwife yesterday and she said to take paracetamol and drink honey and lemon drinks or fresh orange for vit c. You are not alone i feel your pain

Hi ladies, joining the poorly sick club with sore throat and chesty cough feel rubbish and can't believe I'm awake at this time on christmas morning. Should be cuddled up in bed with DP but he's kicked me out for coughing in his ear and snoring v loudly what I need is a port and brandy (my nanna's answer to everything) but I will settle for hot water with lemon and honey
