Is that even possible?

Feel awful. Hot/cold, exhausted, jelly legs, sore head, achey everything, runny nose... temperature was 37.6 last time I checked. Am 12 weeks pregnant.

Do I just sit this out in bed or should I attempt to see a doctor?

Maybe it's just a bad cold...?

It is possible - the flu jab takes 10 days to take effect, apparently.

Don't panic, your temperature isn't that high - there was a cold going round my office with similar symptoms.

But if it was me, I would attempt to see a doctor, in the spirit of getting peace of mind during pregnancy.

I had flu jab on wed morn and by lunchtime I felt like death. Temperature, shakes, achy all over, headache you name a flu symptom I had it lol Felt worse yesterday even to the point of being offered tamiflu in case it was swine flu. However fever broke in the night and although not 100% today I feel a squillion times better Smile My advice from the GP, drink loads of water, eat little and often, when you have a shower (if you feel up to it)sprinkle olbas oil or karvol in the shower and it'll act like a steam room to clear your nose and chest and honey and lemon in hot water to soothe your throat. Oh and paracetamol to bring your temp down. Worked a treat especially the shower thing. Happy xmas for tomorrow, hope you feel better xx
