Im 18 weeks and on my third lot of antibiotics for UTI's.
Just wondered if anyone thought that this was dangerous to my unborn baby, as im getting really worried about the amount of drugs that im putting into my body.

I had a chest infection 4 weeks ago and was given a course of anti biotics. 2 weeks later i got ANOTHER respiritory infection and was told i couldnt have any more anti biotics but they signed me off from work for 5 days for complete bed rest. I ended up back at doctors on Monday and was told i now have a throat infection (TMI, puss balls and very red) but they wont give me more antibiotics! I guess it depends on the GP! I am now 19+2

Just about to start Augmentin for an UTI (E coli - eek!) - I'm 35 weeks - doc seems to think it's fine. They wouldn't prescribe them if they were dangerous - it's horrible though, I know. Have just had flu and worried about the low doses of paracetamol I was taking (but felt so ill I had to).
