I am 24 weeks pregnant today and at night and sometimes through the day i am having terrible terrible back pain (literally making me cry) I do have sciatica but i think this is maybe more of the way the baby is lieing??

I also think my baby is in the breech position and was wondering if anybody could shed some light on this. The reason i say this is because i get alot of movement very low down like pelvic area it always feels like hard kicks or hands? Would it be the head ? or would i not feel movement like this if the babys head was down there?

sorry, no idea. But here's a bump for you. I'm sure someone will be along soon who knows

has the midwife not told you if it is head up or down? not important at this stage as it will do many turns before its due!!!
As for the back ache, maybe you should have it looked at.You dont want added discomfort. Maybe something to support bump to take pressure off your back?

Sorry just poped on ebay am back now

Well i don't see the midwife now till i am 28 weeks last time i saw her was 16 weeks!
At my scan (22 weeks) the baby was breech, i just can not stand the pains when its moving, i thought i was suppost to enjoy the movements ? it is all feeling strange and to much pain at the moment, it feels like there is alot of pressure low down, sometimes its that bad i think i am gonna wee myself

Maybe i should see doctor to get checked what do you think??

I have been like this is both my pregnancy's....sometimes movements can be very painful but as baby gets bigger it will settle down into less movement especially low down.....

Second time round I have wet myself upon some kicking and so dont forget to do your pelvic floors like I did

My baby was breech for about a week around 26 weeks and I found it horrible so I do sympathise, mine luckily turned and I felt loads better after. Hope he/she turns for you too
