Just thinking ahead here, but not got a midwife appointment until Feb now...
Has anyone on here given birth at the Oxford Spires unit at the JR?
Am I right in thinking this is part of the NHS and I wouldn't have to pay to use the birthing pool. I know it'll all depend upon availability on the big day, but how does it work in theory? Do you book the birthing pool room in advance? It all looks very snazzy, but have no idea how you get into the system!
