Can I put my maternity jeans on now?!

I'm 17 weeks and not really showing but my jeans are feeling tight! Is it too soon to dig the maternity jeans out from the back of the wardrobe? I was hoping to make it to 20 weeks before I needed to!

Of course and hopefully you have some of the over the bump ones cos they keep your tummy really warm in this weather! Grin I'm thinking about putting mine back on after having DD 7wks ago as they come up as far as my boobs now and I'd be toasty! Wink

Thanks Ebb made me laugh and you've given me a practical reason (apart from expanding waistline!) to wear them!

I am NEVER going back to normal jeans. Over the bump ones are too, too comfy Xmas Wink

Hell yes. I'm dusting mine off in preparation for Christmas day. My last baby was born years ago.

Yes, yes, yes! I love my maternity jeans (over-the-bump from Next) and wish I'd discovered them years ago :)

I started wearing mine at 15 weeks - my usual ones are a bit low rise and were just uncomfortable, even though they still fit.

My friend admitted that she didn't stop wearing hers until a year + after her DS was born... Grin

I started wearing mine at 15 weeks. If you're not comfy in your normal clothes, get the maternity jeans on! I don't think there's really any need to 'hope to make it to 20 weeks'. We all develop differently and there is no prize at the end of it for who stayed in normal clothes the longest.

Although I did manage to fit into my denim cut offs (with black opaque tights of course, brrrr, and a nice sparkly Monsoon top and knee high suede boots) for my only xmas night out this year - I was pleased I managed to squeeze in one last glam night in my usual clothes!

My preggy jeans are still falling down at 21 weeks, but normal jeans are well over.

You get a few extra weeks in normal jeans by using a hair band to tie through button hole & then loop over the button - gives another inch or 2.

I've tried on about 20 pairs of maternity jeans - still cant find a comfy proper fitting pair. Think I'll get some braces in the sales to keep them up :)
