I have seen my midwife and will again this week incase it's preeclampsia. Any tips other than raising limbs and drinking?

Im right there with you, Im 36 weeks and for the last 2 weeks my calves, ankles and feet are huge, I cant fit into any of my boots, and pumps (without socks cos it looks cack) arent fun in the snow.

Cant advise you except to say get your midwife to check you over, which you seem to have done.

God, just looking at my feet and seeing they actually have rolls of fat and lines is enough to make me realise that this pregnancy is a one time only deal, never to be repeated Grin

I'm the same, was wondering if it's possible to get stretch marks on your feet Wink

There's really not much you can do I'm afraid. My DD is 7 weeks old now but the last 10 weeksof my PG I swelled up everywhere... And I mean everywhere! Face, feet, ankles, calves, thighs, hands and fanjo!! Seriously, my fanjo even got water retention! I went for lots of tests and it wasn't pre eclampsia, just "normal" PG symptoms. It got so bad I couldn't walk properly and I tried everything to relieve it but nothing worked. Rest assured though that once you've had the baby you do deflate quite quickly!
