33 weeks and spotting

So last night and this morning there's brown/pink spotting/some streaking when I wipe (mmm, a lot of info for a friday morning!). I've not had any bleeding before, and I'm RH- so a bit concerned. In my paranoia have also convinced myself it's a bit mucus-y.
I've left a message w the midwife team, but thought I'd get some MN advice while I wait for them to call back. Of course if it gets more dramatic will call hospital.
So, normal or not?!?

I don't have any advice I'm afraid as this is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what's normal, but I'm around the same stage as you (34 weeks). Could it be the mucus plug? Hope you get some advice from the midwives soon.

i would guess mucus plug - hope midwife calls you back soon or else phone your delivery unit because they want to check you are not going into early labour
