Hello,

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have just bought some 400mg RLT capsules. Anyone know how many should I take a day? Thanks for your help!

You can take up to 4 a day but start with one a day and gradually increase.

debka · 15/12/2010 21:18

Don't expect them to actually DO anything though...

Up to 4 a day.

If you have the ones from Holland & Barratt 3 to 6 times a day actually. And dissolve in hot water if you want to. I was mainlining them this time last year!

Somedaysoon · 15/12/2010 21:24

You can take up too 6 a day from 34 weeks you start at 1 a day and increase by 1 a week so by the time 40 weeks is there you are taking max dose. I have bottle in front of me lol ;)

Great, thank you! I know lots of people say they don't do anything, but there are also a lot of people that think they might...so as long as they don't do any harm, it's worth a try (I reckon!)

My NCT teacher tells me that there is no harm in taking the tablets and they improve the function of the uterus during contractions.
