when did i concieve

hiya im ue 5th feb with first baby, but cant work out when i concieved i went for early scan on 11th june he said i was 5.5 wks, now on 15/12/2010 im 32 and 4 days..

but my periods wernt reg my last one was 2nd april 2010, and i done a test at end of april round 27-28 and it was neg... so i rekern i must of caught tht week

Dates are unreliable by scan at that early stage of 5.5weeks. Did you have another scan at 12 weeks that confirmed dates?

If your due dates is really 5th feb, then your assumed LMP would have been 1st May, and the conception assumed to have been 2 weeks later, around the 14th May. But as sperm can survive for upto 7 days, the time of the intercourse could have been anywhere from 7 to 14 ish of may.

But all this depends on your scan dating being correct. Dating scans are only really reliable between 11 and 14 weeks.

Not sure it makes much difference knowing when a baby was concieved as they hardly ever arrive on their due date anyway!!!

yh the scans all match up,
i had 3 within a month, but i just dont get how its worked out because if i concieved 14ish then she would of been less than 5.5 weeks it dont make sense how they work it out lol,

i put the dates in the calculator and 2 of them said i concieved 28th april then as i went for the scan on 11th june it would of made it right to the date
