basically i was expecting one thing but got told differently. i was totally thrown but am fine with it now as long as they are healthy etc.
but i can't shake the nagging feeling that they've made a mistake!

so how often do they get it wrong?

i think its the hormones making me wonder/ doubt them Blush

We were told we're having a little boy at the 20wk scan but have booked in for a private sexing scan later this month.

I'm really not bothered if it's a boy or a girl as long as it's healthy, however I did go a bit crazy on stuff in the sales so kind of hoping the sonographer got it right!

We were told boy at the 20w scan but baby had minor abnormality that they wanted to re-scan for at 33w. So we asked again then just to see what she'd say....and the sonographer this time said almost certainly girl!

Who knows.

We have names for each picked out and have bought entirely gender-neutral - although if it's a DS it will mean I sadly can't use some of the gorgeous clothes my friend gave me.

I was told there was an 85% chance of ds2 being a boy.

Was quite surprised they didn't say higher given the fact he was waving his willy right in everyone's faces Grin

An additional test can be used to ensure the sex, you can get a blood test in the form of a NIPT which can check for the sex chromosome. It is highly unlikely this would not be correct.
