Does anyone know if it's possible?
I did a glucose tolerance test at 30 or so weeks since my father has developed type 2 diabetes in the last couple of years (he has been an alcoholic always) and my result was right at the cut off point. 7.8,if it'd been 7.7 they would have considered me normal.

Anyway, I believe that I do not really have pregnancy diabetes and if I do then I probably did with my other two pregnancies and they were both normal and babies born a very average weight, so I can't see that I should be considered high risk.
I was never told to eat like normal the days leading up to my fastings glucose test so I ate a lot more sweet things, just in case I did get diagnosed PD, so I'm quite sure that skewed the result.

I do check my bloodsugar 7 times a day and am happy to continue doing so, but I don't want all the extra annoyance that comes with this diagnosis. Obviously, I am happy to reconsider if my BS levels suddenly start going high or my baby puts on a lot of weight.

So, does anyone know how to go about it to try and get to re do the OGTT? I'm not sure if I need to speak to my MW, or the diabetes nurse at the hospital or any of the other people I now have to see regularly at hospital.

Any ideas???
