Even waking up hungry (though not every two hours in night!). Is this normal. Baby was apparently normal size last week. Is final few days of piggery going to make it monstrously big?

I don't even last 2 hours - I'm 36 weeks. Seem to have to graze all day, it's almost like I've got morning sickness/nausea back. Trying to stick to frui/other healthy things to minimise damage....

Can't say how it affects baby but mine is measuring big. As am I Sad.

Me too, due today and cannot stop eating! Started yesterday and kept going from feeling hungry to sick and dizzy. Ate enough pasta to feed a family of 8 last night and woke up at 6am starving enough to eat beans on toast! Getting quite scared now, last visit to midwife she predicted an average size baby however after this extreme bout of eating I am now worried I am going to have an 11 pounder!! Hope she comes out soon

I'm not sure which I'd prefer, all these extra calories going into baby or my bottom and thighs - think it will probably be both Grin

good point glittery. I had a carbtastic lunch - cereal and pasta and bread. Couldn't help myself. About to raid biscuit tin now. Oh dear. Come on baby...

Um, I am in extra big trouble as I have xmas between now and when mine pops out. And I'm spending it at my mum's who is, at the best of times, a "feeder". 3 stone gained so far, let's see how much more is possible... Sad

I ate like a horse in the last week before mine was born... and she came out at 6 pound 6. Hate to think how tiny she'd have been if I'd not stuffed myself. Eat! You'll not have time later :)

yes i agree with ellipse...youre hungry for a reason, so dont feel bad about it. if you're hungry...EAT! the baby/your body must need it...nature has a way of handling these things... Wink
