Really nervous about 12 week scan

.. and I know there is nothing that anyone can do - I just wanted to talk about it!

I have had a missed miscarriage previously - discovered at the 12 week scan, so that's probably why. I'm still feeling sick but my boobs aren't sore anymore.

I wish I had a time machine!

Feeling exactly the same, my scans on the 22nd and I'm so nervous.

I think like you as some of my symptoms are calming down, I feel as though I'm not pregnant anymore. That much so that I almost bought a pregnancy test today!!

I think its just nerves and after your scan you'll be able to relax and enjoy the pregnancy again

When is your scan?

I get freaked out by every scan - even the ones I had before I had ever had any bad news!

I remember that feeling all too well - i had miscarriages before - and i kept thinking that i had made a mistake and was never to be a mother. But DS is now 13 months and asleep in his cot. No advise just sympathy, good luck and congratuations

I'm nervous too - scan is on Christmas Eve. I've had hardly any symptoms, just slightly larger boobs and tiredness. Am almost expecting the sonographer to diagnose me as a timewasting fantasist and send me away, sharpish.

I really think all women feel like this until you get to your first scan and actually see it moving around. I had my first one last Monday and before it I had felt exactly the same as you all do, especially as my best friend had a missed miscarriage last year. These are quite unusual though I think.
Anyway fingers crossed for you all, I am sure you will all be okay and its absolutely amazing to see your baby moving around!!

I'm exactly the same - my scan is on Thursday and like Armi I'm just tired and big boobed. No other symptoms. Have also put on a bit of weight already so my worst nightmare is the midwife telling me I'm not pregnant, just really need to diet.

My scan is tomorrow and I am so nervous! I am worried that they will tell me there is nothing there!

heehee - I remember my first 12wk scan with DD, being so relieved that there was actually something in there!

It was fine! All looked ok!

HOw far away in the pregnancies are you?
Is this your exact 12th week?
I believe I'm in my 12th as well and I do feel bloated, heavy, with much larger boobs and a hint of morning sickness.
Please share your expereinces form the scans as mine is about to happen in the New Year..
