Anyone else due today??!!

I am due today can't believe due day is here am very nervous but excited so want it all over with and to meet my daughter

Good luck - I'm not even pregnant but it was dd2's third birthday yesterday so have been thinking about birth a lot!

She was 11 days overdue though so you might have a bit of waiting still.....

Is it your first?

I am terrified yes it is my first have had a very stressful pregnancy though had a high nuchal at 12 week scan so had to have extra scans, had a massive bleed at 13 weeks thought I was having a miscarriage then at 29 weeks had my appendics out was ill for 2 weeks before thye did naything they kept saying it was a kidney infection, it took me ages to recover after the op all my wound got infected was awful.

But she is a little fighter and still here and growing stronger by the day bless her.

They told me at my my 16 week scan with such a high nuchal at 12 weeks it was rare I hadnt miscarried.

So as you can imagine I am scared of being in hospital again!x

Oh dear that does sound like a difficult pregnancy - no wonder you're glad to get to your due date!

I bled with dd2 when I was 6/7 weeks and thought I was miscarrying. But she was a fighter too - and still is (although a fighter who likes dressing up as a princess!).

It was a great birth - I had an elective c-section My first was breech so had a section with her. Tried for a VBAC with dd2 but after 11 days of waiting went for the "easy" option. Recovery time is longer but I knew what to expect the 2nd time round.

'tis my due date today, no sign of LO making an arrival though. Our first and it seems incredibly happy to stay warm and comfy inside.

My due date too although no signs of anything happening. Midwife suggested a sweep on Weds although not sure if I should go ahead or wait for her to be ready. Good luck and will keep a watch on this thread for updates! Hopefully we will receive an early xmas present!
