Snacks in Labour bag

Hi

I know there's a giant thread about labour bags - but I'm just slightly confused about the snack side...

I asked a girl i know what she took and she came back with "Don't take soup!" - which, made me laugh and well.. i wasn't planning on taking soup!!!

But if you take sandwiches - do you just stick them in a sandwich bag and hope they don't get warm? And how many flapjacks should i take?? How many cartons of OJ? How many snacks for my DH.

Any advice would be grateful - cos I really can't figure this one out! Confused

No idea, but I have got a box of Tracker bars - won't be bothering with sandwiches, the bars are mainly for afterwards, I didn't get to eat anything from Sunday night until Tuesday morning when I had my twins Shock I also have a six pick of juice cartons in the freezer ready to bung in a chill bag when we leave for the hospital, so hopefully they will be cold for a while, and a large bottle of squash in the fridge to take too. Might put that in the freezer actually, when labour starts.
