HI all.
I am 8 weeks and had a private scan on Tuesday and everything was great. Yolk sack was good and heartbeat perfect.
However, Just been to loo and when I wiped myself there was brown blood on the tissue, can someone tell if this is normal as obviously worried as had miscarriage in Sept. xx

Hello , sorry your so worried...could it be spotting due it being around the time that your period would be due?...I would call EPU and ask advice.
I can understand how stressed you must be (had 3 mc myself) but please try and rest.
As long as there is no pain, and alot of blood hopefully all will be fine.
Keeping everything crossed for you XX

I think docs use the phrase "not normal but not unusual" about bleeding in early pg.

It's just a horrid wait and see; there are lots of tales of spotting and even quite heavy bleeding not equating to MC, but I wouldn't patronise you and say not to worry, as I know that's impossible, partic as you've MC before :(

FWIW I had a massive bright red bleed with DS (now 2) at 14 weeks; and then my first MMC I had no bleeding/spotting/concerns of any kind and when I went for my scan at 13 weeks, baby had died the week before. I suppose I'm saying it's impossible to say.

Hoping all works out ok for you.

8 weeks and a hb signifigantly reduce your chances of mc. I bled brown at 7.5 weeks with DD and all was fine. It was also a few days after my scan which was internal. Was your scan internal?

Hi emmywoo. Im 7 weeks and had some brown discharge for 3 days now. The most in the morning. My mw said just to keep eye on that but as long as it's not red or heavy 'is not unusual' as Octavia put nicely. The worst is that I find it hard to relax and any little pain find suspicious. Even if I only need to fart! :)
Good luck and fingers crossed!
