39 weeks and suddenly can't walk due to abdominal pain - any ideas?

Hello all. I'm 39 weeks and since a couple of days ago I've suddenly had real problems walking as it hurts quite a lot in my lower abdomen when I do move about. I don't think it's a pelvic problem as it's too high up (sort of where your hands naturally go if you support your bump) and I had mild SPD last pregnancy and it's not like that.

Sitting or lying down it doesn't hurt, but walking is so tricky I'm shuffling about like a 90 year old or resorting to crawling on hands and knees!

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

thanks

I am having the same, especially today. Feels like evrything is going to explode and walking like a 90 year old John Wayne!! I am thinking its baby engaging - hoping so anyway. It is especially bad when driving. We live in quite a rural area so lots of potholes, but thought I was going to burst open today. So my bet is baby engaging.

I have same and have been told to bounce on birthing ball, watch tv on all fours and walk up and down stairs sideways.
