im 19 plus weeks and this is second pregnancy so thought id be feeling movement by now. to be totally honest im "a large lady" so dont know if thats why im not feeling anything. i know when i was pregnant with dd i had to have a monitor on due to bleeding and they couldnt find a heart beat and the midwife said well it has a long way to travel so dont worry!!!!!

i don't think 19 weeks is late on. and baby could be turned other way.

i was always advised to have a drink of orange juice and wait for an hour

I didn't really feel the baby moving this time until I was just over 20wks. It was found at our 20wk scan that I have an anterior placenta which was cushioning a lot of the baby's movements. I felt DD1 kicking much earlier than this though. I'm 31wks now and DD2 never stops kicking and moving around now though!!! Smile

Hello! I am 18.5 weeks, and I am not a large lady (pre-preg BMI 17). I felt no movements and was really really worried like you. I saw a fetal medicine specialist (privately) yesterday. He told me not to worry - statistically (on average) movements ought to occur starting 21-22 weeks... More waiting time Sad. So don't worry!

Don't panic. I didn't feel anything until 21/22 weeks with both my pregnancies and I'm a skinny little thing.

I didn't get movements until at least 19 weeks this time, last time it was 15 weeks! This time though, I only have one baby, and an anterior placenta.
