Second timers - when did you start to show?

I am 5+5 and due back at work from maternity leave in just over 4 weeks. I was hoping to not have to break it to my boss on my first day back that I will be off again in about 6 months but the notches on my belt are starting to suggest that I might have to! Anyone else been there??

I was a bit 'thick' around the middle by 10 weeks, but didn't show until 18 weeks.

So my guess is, unless you pile on the weight too quickly, you still have plenty of time to 'come back' to work .

I lost a stone with sickness in the first 16 weeks but my belly still grew, was in maternity jeans from 12 weeks. More for comfort than anything, depends how well you can dress to hide it!

I told my boss at 22 weeks - he hadnt noticed (I am normally a 10) Think you just feel a bit bloated in the first few weeks as baby is only about the size of a rice crispie anyway so it's dfitely not it.

TBH they probably won't notice, just wear baggy clothes and they'll think you're still trying to lose your baby weight. I remember being asked when it was due 6 months after i'd given birth because I was wearing an empire line dress

Well this is my third and I have been quite amazed how quickly I have shown. Only 13 weeks now but definitely noticeable to me from about 8 weeks.

Can't fit ordinary size 12 jeans anymore, not unless they are low hipsters.

Boobs also massive, only 1 bra still covers them.

Around 23 weeks was when my bump was becoming noticeable through clothes.

I showed far, far sooner with DC2. Was in maternity jeans by 12 weeks and felt, ugh, before then.

With DC1 I didn't have a proper bump until about 18 weeks.

I also had noticeably larger boobs, which didn't happen with DC1.

I was out of my slim fitting jeans almost straight away! Had definite bump by about 12 weeks although was hiding it with baggy clothes. According to work colleagues other than the greeness and generaly looking like crap it was my boobs which gave me away - they shot up several cup sizes overnight.

I'm pregnant with DC's 2 and 3, and my bump appeared at 14 weeks. First pregnancy was 17 weeks, so not sure if its that there are 2 of them or that its 2nd time around.

Everyones different, i too questioned my dates and if i was having twins but im just big. You show sooner with ur 2nd so its perfectly normal

im 22 weeks and havent really got one yet i notice im not as flat stomachd as i was but no1 else does im still size 8 and there not tight yet. with my 1st i was showing by 12 weeks though
