Paranoia and symptoms fading

Hi,

I have posted this on another thread already but I'm feeling a bit paranoid today ...

Am 11+2. Had a scan at 9+3 (I have really long cycles so they thought I was 14 weeks, though I knew I wasn't) and saw the heartbeat and the baby wriggling about Smile, and have another scan at 12+3 (next Thursday).

Last week and especially the week before I had quite bad morning sickness - sick between 1-3 times a day and generally feeling crappy, and before that I was retching a lot for about 4 weeks. I know that's nowhere near as bad as a lot of people.

But this week - nothing. Yesterday was sick free, I'm eating again, and I have woken up feeling completely fine. My boobs are much much less sore than they have been. I also have had lower backache the last couple of days. I don't have any bleeding or cramping but I'm terrifying myself about mmc.

I had a mc at only 4+2 in August and conceived during the next cycle (which would have been 9 weeks long - hence the dates). I know that was really early and that anything that happens in this pregnancy is unconnected, but it doesn't stop me worrying!

Have other people lost their symptoms this early? Everything I can find links loss of symptoms to week 14 and beyond ...

I lost most of my symptoms around 10 weeks. They suddenly disappeared at 8 weeks, which had me dashing to the local EPU for a scan which showed all was fine. They then came back for a week or so before easing off again. I'm now 19+2 and a pretty much symptom free apart from still being tired. If you are really worried try getting an appointment for another scan this week - they were really lovely at the EPU here and very understanding of my worries.

Thanks emma. I kind of thought if I rang the EPU they'd say to stop being paranoid and to wait until next Thursday - it's only a week after all. But a week feels like a long time!

Thank you though :)

mine went at about 8 weeks odd as well. I had been feeling sick and it lifted like a fog, i felt so much better I was convinced something bad had happened but all was ok on the scan.

:) so pleased for you lucy - are you still pregnant or have you had your DC? I really shouldn't post early in the morning - always wake up more paranoid.

Did just throw up my breakfast a little bit because I let myself get hungry Blush. I still feel generally fine and can eat whatever I want, but am praying it was the little one letting me know he/she is still in there!

So hard not to worry, especially as so much of the information suggests that pregnancy symptoms fade from 14 weeks on. But I know worrying is completely pointless ...

I am so impatient for the scan!
