Hey I'm new to Mumsnet. Defecting from Netmums lol. Couldn't find an introduction board but I guess this place seems as good as any!

I'm 27 and I live in Scotland with my OH and our three kids who are 4, 2, and 9 months. Number 4 is due in April :)

I'm a writer and have various interests including anything from psychology to the occult and lots more inbetwen.
Look forward to chatting with you all- I've heard stories! :)

Have you checked the antenatal groups? There is probably one for 'Due In April', thats a good place to start.

I wouldn't worry about the stories Jasmine- the folks over at netmums can be quite a prissy little bunch (With a few exceptions!)

I would be loving the snow a LOT more if the nurseries weren't off and my kids weren't starting to go a bit Jack Nicholson with the cabin fever lol.

That said, our snow man has lasted well over a week because it's not getting any warmer :)

Prissy? not my experience here. Have just been discussing the best foods to throw up. Seems bananas and cocoapops are favourites, though I favour beetroot for shock factor.

It would be nice to have just a wee bit o snow down here. Freezing fog for 2 days but still green green grass of Oxfordshire. have friends in Highlands though - they are having 'fun'
