I've has thrush for the last month.

Have tried cream, then pessary and now trying three days of pessaries.

Finding it painful to insert the pessary this time so haven't managed to start the three day course yet. Waiting for doctor to phone with tips.

Wondered if anybody else out there has had bad thrush during pregnancy? What did you find helpful?

I did the 3 days worth of pessaries after having tried external cream and internal cream and it did go after that. And I haven't had it back since. Maybe try lubricating the applicator with a bit of natural yogurt? But probably best to wait for doc's advice, although the quicker you start treatment the better. Always put pessary in just before you go to bed and lie down so it doesn't just fall back out again!

I had it after DD was born. Cream cleared it up but I did, on a friends advice, smear my bits with live natural yoghourt and lay on a towel on the bed with my legs up Blush - it's supposed to "gobble up" the bad bacteria - quite soothing too Smile
