Aching belly and back from sleeping - I'm desperate, any tips?

I've been getting an achy back and stomach from lying on my side at night for a while now - I've tried about a million different combinations of pillows (between legs, under bump, behind back), and sometimes they seem to work. But it just seems really bad today - normally the achiness goes away after I get up and move around in the morning. Today, though, I'm knackered and sore and miserable (and feeling sorry for myself - can you tell...?).

Anyone got any tips? Has anyone used a maternity belt at night, and has that made a difference? (And if so, which one??)

Any assistance greatly appreciated...

I use the dream genii pillow (not sure on spelling, got mine from babies r us) which is ace as u only need that pillow, I found using normal pillows I kicked them out of bed in the night! Also my backache has really eased since I started antenatal yoga, as it's strengthening my back muscles. I use a support band during the day but never tried at night, sorry. Xxx

I use the dream genii as well, though I lost the pillow case between pregnancys and also find I need to turn over in the night(even though you're not supposed to sleep on your right side) and so it only works when I'm facing the right way. I have a support belt from my last pregnancy and am going to start wearing it during the day now (I'm 32+1) as I'm getting more unomfortable. Sorry no really useful advice, but I'm feeling the pain too so thought I'd share. Hope you feel better soon!
