Pain and cramps!

Hi i'm rough;y 6-7weeks and i had a really sore shooting pain across my abdomin and since then i've had cramping. It's my first and I'm worried i'm going to lose it! I could really do with some advice and reassurance (if possible cos this feel horrible)

Oh Laura, no advice but I remember sharp pains in the first few weeks with both dc's and they were fine. Put on some soothing music, put your feet up and hopefully someone will come along soon with advice.

Sadly no advice here. Am 6 weeks pregnant too, and am in the same boat, so will keep an eye on this thread...

I know quite a few people on here have said they had cramping in the very beginining,like they were about to come on a period,and its supposed to be the uterus stretching.I remember having uncomfy feelings with no4,but he was fine,so maybe its something similar.

Ive had some really bad cramps as well, I was worried as this is my first so I phoned the EPU, they were really helpful and said it was normal. Told me to ring back if there was bleeding as well or if the cramps were only on one side. THey even told me I could take paracetemol if they got too bad, I was surprised as I thought painkillers were a no go area.
