I'm 15 weeks and I have put a stone on so far as I have been a non stop eating machine since I found out.

happycamel · 02/12/2010 12:37

I'm 22 weeks and I've put on 1 stone 4lbs. Apparently my baby is small for dates so I reckon it must all be fat Grin

Pinetreeland · 02/12/2010 12:38

I am 29 weeks and put on 9kg. If you are small then you are meant to put on more!

nancydrewrockinaroundxmastree · 02/12/2010 12:39

I am 25 weeks and have put on 11lbs.

Although I have just eaten the best part of an entire tin of quality street (I blame the snow!) so that is another kilo Grin

Baby is small for dates and bump was measured at 27 weeks yesterday. I think that menas I may be getting a little fat Confused

clarebear1 · 02/12/2010 12:44

If we was pregnant in the summer it would be a lot easier to eat better.

I'm 35 weeks and stopped weighing myself at 32 weeks when I hit 2 stone.

To be honest I'm not that bothered about numbers - before I conceived I'd lost 3 stone so I know I can lose it again. Also I don't think I look "fat" as it's mostly gone on bump and boobs so far.

hoolabombshell · 02/12/2010 13:22

Just over 28 weeks here and have gained almost 2 stone. Was a size 14-16 before so feeling rather lumpy and bumpy. Keep reminding myself it's for a good cause, however I really don't want to gain much more!

zippy30 · 02/12/2010 13:34

I'm 23 weeks have put on almost 2 stone. I was 8 stone before. Can't believe I've put this much on already! :( It must all be flab as I don't have a particularly big bump.

Cyclebump · 02/12/2010 13:40

You guys are weighing yourselves?! I so don't want to know! I'm refusing to weigh myself, I'll only get depressed (she says, checking antenatal notes to see if the evidence is there...).

cockle84 · 02/12/2010 13:42

I've put on just under a stone and a half and I'm 25 weeks. I'd put on about a stone by 15 weeks so slowed down a lot!! I was eating loads and loads of carbs to put off sickness so I think that's to blame.

It's not nice to see the scales going up and up but must mean baby is growing well. Just telling myself I'll lose it when she's here! Looking forward to getting back to netball so that will help shift the excess. ;0)

Cyclebump · 02/12/2010 14:01

I'm planning to get back on my bike as soon as I can. Am seriously pining for Reg, my steel steed.

NorkilyChallenged · 02/12/2010 14:05

I refuse to weigh myself, too depressing.

I do know that I'm absolutely huge and am only 16 weeks, I'm much bigger than I was at about 22 weeks with dc1 (this is dc3).

lilly13 · 02/12/2010 14:41

I am almost 18 weeks and put on 5 lbs so far. None in the first 12 weeks, and then have been gaining 1 lb per week. This scares me a lot, as I have been roughly the same weight since the age of 16 (i am 35 now) and my pre-preg BMI was 17. I can't imagine myself 30 lbs heavier. I suppose, as someone said here, it is better to start thinking about the weight gain in kilos, rather than pounds (less dramatic :))!

TooImmature2BMum · 02/12/2010 15:05

Cyclebump, I'm with you! I refuse to weigh myself and luckily have never got the hang of kilos (strictly a stones and pounds girl) so even if the midwife does weigh me at the next appointment then I won't know what it means. She didn't weigh me last time, so maybe she won't this time either. I'm 27 weeks today. I didn't put any weight on in the first trimester either and then quickly put on a stone in about a fortnight, hence the not looking any more. I have been lurking on the 30-day Shred thread and am telling myself I will do that post-baby and get super-toned in a month.

frakkinup · 02/12/2010 15:12

5, maybe 6kg at nearly 21 weeks - so around the 11lb mark.

I have to say I've not been eating brilliantly but I don't really know where it's going as I still just about fit into pre-preg trousers, my bras still fit and yes, my thighs are bigger but I've had to stop my cardio routine so that was to be expected. I reckon it's extra blood and stuff, although nearly a stone of extra blood is quite a worrying thought!

bluebeach · 02/12/2010 16:02

I'm 27 weeks and have put on 2 stone and counting. I'm a first timer and always self righteously thought when I got pregnant I would be one of those 'thin all over with a nice neat bump' kind of girls.

I am actually now generally thicker all over and have developed some nice deputy dawg jowels. Oh well, I'll just keep hoping I can breast feed and be one of those girls that 'the weight just falls off'.

One can dream!

diyqueen · 02/12/2010 19:38

Was interested to see this thread as I was wondering what was normal! About a stone at 24 weeks for me - was quite surprised when I weighed myself as only my tummy's really got bigger and the bump's still pretty small - like frakkinup not sure where it all is!

Highlandgirl · 02/12/2010 19:54

I'm 28 week and only put on about 6 or 7 Llbs. I've very surprised by this..I'm all out the front and very neat. Did think I would go size wise but haven't. And I'm not small girl, 5,9 and about 12 stone with but boobs..!

Baby measured perfect size for dates...!

sh77 · 02/12/2010 21:10

Nearly 25 weeks and nearly half a stone.

ecuse · 06/12/2010 13:44

about 5.5kilos / 12lbs at 21 weeks

jellyhead188 · 06/12/2010 19:05

Am 19 weeks lost a stone! - morning sickness till 17 weeks - only advantage is losing weight!

fairybubbles · 07/12/2010 11:59

im 26 weeks and have put on less than a stone. morning sickness until 17 weeks. have a massive appetite now and hungry all the time so trying to take care that I eat healthily. Have my best friends wedding 12 weeks after due date and want to be able to buy nice dress- that's my motivation not to overeat

GlitteryBalls · 07/12/2010 12:53

35 weeks and nearly 3 stone Sad Put loads on at beginning, and now just recently. Kind of maintained throughout 2nd trimester but all of a sudden put loads on Blush

Had a BMI of 26 at the start too, so really shouldn't have out on this much.

Tyr not to worry about it, you'll just drive yourself mad and make yourself miserable - like I have!

cowboylover · 07/12/2010 19:02

I have lost 3 and a half stone by 17 weeks but was a BMI of 48 so still plenty spare.

Had sickness and tummy bug so not been keeping anything down. My MW said weight always causes worry if its a loss or a gain so as long as baby is fine dont worry x

MrsMogwai · 07/12/2010 19:58

Started as a size 16. I'm 22 weeks and am 3.5lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight. Lost a fair bit in the first Tri with all day nausea and it took a while for my appetite to come back. I've been slowly regaining weight recently although it seems to be speeding up a bit now that I'm eating cake and biscuits all day again!
