Go carting whilst poss pg?

I don't know if this is a ridiculous question...

I am waiting for AF which is due next Fri 10th. IF it is BFP, would it be a mistake to do indoor go carting on the following Monday?

It is indoor, all strapped in, there wouldn't I think be any chances of knocks etc, what do you think??

Most karting tracks don't allow pregnant people to race, and you might risk any insurance (although most tracks also make you sign an indemnity form) if you don't disclose it.

Also, don't be so sure there won't be any knocks, it can be quite bone rattling to be shunted into the tyres by another over enthusiastic driver on the track.

Hmm. Normally I would say don't do it, but if you weren't TTC then you might not have normally realised that you could be pregnant.

But if I do find out that i'm pregnant, it would only be 2/3 weeks along, do I still risk anything with the possible pregnancy being in such an early stage?

I wouldn't do it. I've been karting and the knocks are hard. As you are TTC why risk it?

In the very early stages of pregnancy, the uterus is entirely enclosed within the "bowl" of the pelvis, and is therefore extremely well-protected.

I'd view it as if you do turn out to be pregnant and have a miscarriage, would you blame yourself? If so, don't do it.

Miscarriages are very common - affecting about 25% of known pregnancies - so even if the go-karting didn't cause a MC, it could still happen and you may then blame yourself even if it's a bit illogical.

If you are pregnant, the carting won't cause you to have a miscarriage.

BUT

If you are pregnant and you have an accident, say a broken arm or something - much more dodgy in terms of medication or anasthesia.

i would say not too :/
however when i was 4/5weeks pregnant ( which i didnt know anything about) as i found out when i was around 6weeks
i went to alton towers and went on everything there!
when i found out i was pregnant i felt soo guilty and was affraid i would have harmed the baby... but im now 13 weeks and the scan shown everything so far is all good :)
