Lansdell Suite St Thomas - Consultants for ELCS

Probably getting a bit ahead of myself here, as still very early days, but I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has had consultant-led care with any of the Lansdell Suite consultants - have their details on paper but it is difficult to tell much between them so I would like to get a recommendation! Also obviously they all emphasise support for natural birth etc, which is fine but I will be having ELCS so would like to know what they are like for that.

Hi badkitty. I think you posted on the Lansdell/Sir Stanley Clayton thread I started a month or so ago. Whilst I have decided to go with Queen Charlotte, Mr Eugene at Lansdell was very highly recommended. Also suggest you take a look at Queen Charlotte, if it is not too far for you. What swung it for me was the nursery at Queen Charlotte (and lack of nursery at Lansdell) - particularly as I may well also go for an ELCS. Good luck!

PS I don't think you need to worry about Lansdell (or Queen Charlotte) getting booked up - had the distinct impression that it would be no issue to wait until 12 weeks or later.

Thanks Ferdie - only just saw your response on this as had given up on the thread! Queen Charlottes unfortunately too far for us but may look at C&W as well as I think they also have a nursery. Glad that you found it was not an issue to wait till 12 weeks as don't want to tempt fate by booking too early but also worried about missing out!
