Coughing blood in morning

Over the past few days I have coughed up phlem in the morning and a blob of blood came up with it (yuk I know) I'm not feeling ill or anything and have had blood from my nose in the morning when I blow.
Should I worry or do you think its just the same blood from my nose? Has anyone eles had this I cant face more trips to the GP or Hospital when all is probably fine.

When pregnant with DS I used to wake up with horrid brown stuff on my tongue, it was where my gums had been bleeding in the night.

What colour is it? If you are coughing up fairly bright blood, and have done so for several days, you definitely need to see your GP asap.

If OTOH it looks darker it may be oldish blood from your nose bleeds, and therefore possibly not a problem.

But, TBH, seeing as you're pregnant, recurrent nosebleeds may be something that need to be checked out in any case.

definitely get checked, it could be bronchitis and you don't want it to develop into pneumonia, best get checked and nip it in the bud. If you are not feeling ill you are probably fine.
