Weight gain/loss

Just a general query to you all, after giving birth and taking stock, how much weight had you gained or lost?

I put on three stone with DS1 and lost it all in the three weeks after giving birth (but two stone of that was water retention due to pre-eclampsia that I developed in the last month, so I ended up going to the loo a lot).

And with DS2 I put on two stone and lost it all in the first six weeks.

I put on 3 stone and lost it after 3 months, of not doing anything in particular. I think most of it was water retention.
