Hey all, I'm just after some advice from experienced mummies! I have a feeling the answer is going to be "it depends", but still...

I'm 38 weeks pregnant with my first, was told this week that he's 1/5th engaged. How long do babies take to go from 1/5th to 5/5ths, or could it be anything? Just feels like he'll happily camp out in there til he's 16 atm lol

No set time.

When I was pregnant with DS, I saw the MW around a week before I had him. He wasn't engaged at all so I thought I was in for a wait. He was 10 days early and I was halfway through labour and he was still only 3/5ths engaged. It varies.

my dd saw midwife yesterday,she is 3/5,and 37 weeks on friday..
