Spotting but BFP?

Hi All,
I just got my BFP yesterday hooray!!
Since last week I've been having slight brown CM/spotting every now and then. A couple of times it has been pinkish.
Did anyone else have this early on in their pregnancy?
I've not had my initial doctors appointment yet but I'll ask when I go.

with my DD I got my BFP 8 days after my AF was due! - next day began to spot, it was like blood streaked discharge, lasted a week and then stopped - it could be implantation bleeding.

Hi, congratulations!!

I had a bright red bleed the day before my period was due and brown spotting continually until 9 weeks which was very worrying at the time.

Yes, I did. Lasted a week or so. Actually, was more than spotting and some of it was red. Dd is 8 now .

After I'd spend several weeks panicing about it, my mum blithely mentioned that her periods didn't actually stop for the first 3 months of her pregnancy. It was in the days before scans though, and the gp wouldn't agree that she was pregnant till she'd missed 2 periods. By that time she was 5mo and showing well! My brother was born at 40 weeks (by her dates) and was clearly full-term though.
