Hi Quackers and Jems. You are very sweet. Lots of hugs to you both. I have been made redundant !!! The day after I told them I was pregnant ! In process of negotiating settlement with lawyers. All a bit stressful but im relived to be out of that place it was really getting me down ! I have been v sick the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to that passing. Nuchal next Friday.

Did they mak you redundant because of you being Pregnant or did they say they had made the decision before they knew! Bastards!

What an awful time for it to come too - hope you are getting all the help you need from Lawyers etc.

Sorry about the sickness - are you feeling more comfrtable with the whole thing now? still worrying as much?

Oh, TM - I'm just so glad to hear from you!!!!! I'm so sorry, I know you hated it there but what timing!! It just seems a little too much of a coincidence. What is your feeling on it? Was it because of the pgcy?? It's going really quick though I can't beleive you are so far now, near enough out of danger stage now, esp as you had a scan already. Things happen for a reason, even though you'll be upset about having no job, I bet there is a huge sigh of relief too. Hope that something is done for you honey!!!!

Hi Quackers and Jems. I feel fine about it actually. I was a bit shocked and offended at first but now have got over that and am really relieved. I have a good lawyer working on it and my dh and brother are also lawyers so it's very helpful ! Lots of free legal advice ! Yes we are going for sexual discrimination and unfair dismissal because it is so funny that it happened straight after I told them I was pg. Also it was done on the phone and with no consultation process so very illegal.
Yes I do feel sick, very. Still a bit nervous but not too bad thanks Jems. Quackers, I know it has gone quickly. Can't believe it really. How are you doing these days ?

Oh gosh, that's handy!!! Defo sounds dodgy though. Hope it is resolved for you soon! It's a welcome break I'm sure at the moment.

Thanks for asking, I'm doing ok. Got my first period and that is now going. Have up and down days, that's normal I suppose,first anniversary coming up , so will most probs be upset then. Going back to Doc's as my LH seemed to be irregular, so they are doing some blood tests to have a look. Other wise enjoying many glasses of wine as Jems will tell u, I have had some good nights out. Going out with DH tommoorw - yeh!!

Good for you Quackers,make the most of the wine while you can. I am sure you do have bad days it would be unnatural not to. You are very brave.
I am posting from a friends pc. I have my new laptop now just waiting for broadband which should have on Tues then I will be up and running again properly. Hope you had a lovely dinner with your dh xx
